NIGHT CLUB PASS FOR TOURISTS
Club Port Co., Ltd. is working with 22 nightclubs in Tokyo and Osaka (as of May 2024) to make Japan’s nightlife more fun. The company will begin selling the JAPAN NIGHTCLUB PASS (JNP), which allows visitors to tour Japan’s nightclubs, on its dedicated JNP website and partner sites from Monday, May 27, 2024, to foreign tourists visiting Japan.
With the effects of COVID-19 subsiding and the yen’s depreciation, the number of foreign tourists visiting Japan is increasing. However, there is still a demand for “nighttime tourism, entertainment, and activities” in Japan. Japan’s good nighttime security is rare around the world and is a major attraction, but there are also issues facing local governments as inbound demand increases, such as drinking on the streets and littering.
Nightclubs are common around the world and are important as a tourist resource. In recent years, nightclubs have become very popular in Asian countries and have become a major industry that attracts people from all over the world. There are many nightclubs in Japan, and they are an attractive night activity for foreign tourists visiting Japan. However, Japanese nightclubs are still lagging behind other countries. Therefore, it is necessary to maximize the potential of Japanese nightclubs as a tourist resource.
With this in mind, Club Port Co., Ltd. is looking to turn Japanese nightclubs into an attractive tourist resource, and is releasing JNP as a new nighttime tourism content. Nightclubs participating in JNP can be found on the Club Port website. We will work with each club to ensure that you can enjoy nightclubs with peace of mind. JNP will be available in Tokyo and Osaka, and will be available in each area, including Nagoya, Kyoto, Sapporo, Fukuoka, and Okinawa.
