AIRJAPAN HAS UNVEILED ITS NEW AIRCRAFT
Air Japan has unveiled the interior of its inaugural aircraft, which is set to commence operations on February 9th. As a new brand operating medium-haul international flights under the ANA umbrella, the company’s first destination is Bangkok, Thailand, with the maiden flight scheduled for February 9th.
Seats and uniforms were revealed approximately a year ago, and the flight destinations and launch dates were announced in August 2023. Since then, preparations have been steadily advancing, including the selection of Seoul, South Korea (launching on February 22, 2024), and Changi, Singapore (launching on April 26, 2024) as the second and third destinations.
Air Japan CEO Hideki Mineguchi, who took the stage before the launch, stated, “This will be an innovative service brand. I want you to experience that.” He added that the first flight is fully booked for both round trips. The company is off to a promising start, with the Bangkok route in February boasting a 90% booking rate.
