NAGOYA DAY TRIP ACTIVITIES – PART 1
Last Tuesday, we were invited to participate in daytrip activities in Nagoya. On the first day, we went to Tokugawaen and Sooji Temple where we prayed with the chief priest. We also had sushi lunch inside the temple and tried ringing the bell after that.
After our scrumptious lunch, we proceeded to go to Koshoji temple with a monk guide and experience meditation in the temple for 1 hour. If you are familiar with yoga, it is similar poses that you have to do before starting your actual practice. It will really relax your mind and your soul especially when you are listening to the monk’s voice.
Before we finish the trip, we took our chance with Omikuji and of course we brought our goshuin so temples can put their stamps on it. We also went back to the Tower Hotel to rest and had our dinner and in their restaurant. It was one of the best dinner we’ve had in a hotel matched with impeccable service. Apologies that no pictures were taken during the dinnner because my phone battery has ran out.
Here is the shot of the hotel.
