018 (ZERO ICHI HACHI) 5,000 YEN SUPPORT PER MONTH FOR CHILDREN IN TOKYO
018 (Zero Ichi Hachi) Support
- This is a Tokyo government program that will provide 5,000 yen per month (60,000 yen per year) to children under the age of 18 living in Tokyo.
ELIGIBILITY
Children who fall under both of the following are eligible. There are no income restrictions.
- Those who are between the ages of 0 and 18 (born between April 2, 2005, and March 1, 2024)
- Those who have or had an address in Tokyo during 2020 (in principle)
*Those born in 2023, those who moved to Tokyo, and those who moved outside of Tokyo are also eligible.
*Check your residence status as of the 1st of each month.
AMOUNT TO BE PAID
5,000 yen per month per child
*Payment is based on the number of months the child lives in Tokyo.
*Check your residence status as of the 1st of each month.
APPLICATION
- If the target person (child) is under the age of 18, please have a parent or guardian apply.
- If the target person (child) is 18 years old, please apply from a parent or guardian or by the target person (child) themselves.
*Since 18 years old is an adult, when a parent or guardian applies, a power of attorney from the person (child) is required.
APPLICATION PERIOD
From September 1st (Friday) to December 15th (Friday), 2023
*This is the application period for the lump sum payment in January 2024.
*Applications will continue to be accepted after December 16, 2023, and payments will be made separately.
