HIGH END CAFES IN JAPAN

One of the interesting things you can do in Japan is cafe hopping. There are different themed cafes you can visit especially in Tokyo. There are the cat cafes, dog cafes and even owl cafes. From time to time you may also spot a pop up cafe in collaboration of your favorite anime.

If you have some money to spare, why not try some fancy cafés for a different experience?

1. First on the list is the Le Café V of LOUIS VUITTON located in Ginza

Enjoy their aesthetic and instagram worthy architecture while drinking their coffee and trying food from their menu which was created by Yokosuka Suga from the renowned Suga Labo.

The prices for non coffeinated drinks start at 1,980 yen and 1,800 yen for coffee based drinks while the desserts are from 2,800 yen. They also offer sandwiches from 2,900 yen and the main dish starts from 4,100 yen. You can also purchase their chocolates to give to your loved ones. Though these chocolates are not the cheapest, they are definitely pleasing to the eyes. A box of 9 with the LV monogram logo will set you back at 18,000 yen. Probably the cheapest item you can buy inside a Louis Vuitton store.

2. Second is Café Dior by Ladurée located in Ginza

Located in the 4th floor inside the Dior building in Ginza. Their pastel themes are so pleasing to the eyes and menu wise, they are more affordable than Louis Vuitton. Their coffee drink options range from 1,500 yen to 2,000 yen while desserts start from 2,400 yen. It is recommended to try their molten lava cake called moelleux au chocolat for 2,000 yen and of course, the macarons of Laduree.

3. Third on the list is Ralpha Lauren’s Ralph’s coffee in Shibuya

Definitely the most affordable on the list. Since they are the most friendly to the pockets, their shop is always busy. Coffee drinks start from 605 yen, sandwiches from 1,320 yen and pastries from 990 yen. Ralph’s coffee’s interior is leaning towards vintage style. Mostly browns, greens and checkered. The first two cafes might be overwhelming for some, since you might have to dress up a little bit, but Ralph’s coffee has a great welcoming ambience that you can just come anytime regardless even if you are dressed fancy or not.
