Pineapple
- Pineapple, otherwise known as Piña in the Philippines, was introduced by the Spaniards during the Spanish colonial era in 17th century. It is also one of the key crops in the country, not only as a fruit but as a source for precious fabric used in making the Filipino traditional cothing, known as Braong Tagalog and Filipiniana dress.
